Gallifreyan Exports by cbettenbender Gallifreyan Exports by cbettenbender
I've made an entire working language (more of a code, really, but language sounds cool) based on circular Gallifreyan in Doctor Who. It has a real structure, but I'm not going to give that away. ;)

This says, obviously, Gallifreyan Exports. I'm going to be starting up an Etsy shop fairly soon to start selling some things with writing on it in this language.

Let me know what you think! And don't be too harsh. :)

Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, BBC does. Please don't sue me, I love you.

Oh! This is a code! Haha, I thought you have written the syntax for a language. xDD Well, this looks pretty cool, though I think I'm a little confused about where you got "exports" from. Is this a phonetic spelling of "Gallifreyan Exports" or an actual translation? Did you find an appropiate word for "exports" and how did you determine to write a plural and the possessive-- the "-an" and the "-s"? I'm just curious, haha.
In any case, it's a pretty code! Well done :)

I don't think you should be selling copyrighted material in your shop :| I mean, the BBC are pretty sensitve about this sort of stuff. Just saying :)

It's more of a phonetic conversion from English into this. I'm planning on creating a verbal portion as well, but later. Right now it's just this which is essentially a different way of writing any verbal language down. But I still like it, and that being said I still think it's fun and Gallifreyan-y. The best part is you can write down anything in it and it'll look really cool, but it's easily translatable (with the cipher, of course.)

At any rate, I'm glad you like it :)

[People sell a hundred million TARDIS and Dalek things in their shops, so I think I'll be okay.]

I see. Have you made any sort of rules like for the super fancy ones? I'd show an example but I can't think of any right now D:
Super cool :)

[Well, just so you're aware of it and everything.]

There are going to be some words that will be expressed with a sort of pictograph, but that would only be for super fancy, elaborate writing. This is the script, and even less formal than this is the shorthand which can be written out quickly. I drew up a few pictograph ones that I need to upload.

I'm glad you like it! :) I'll be adding more soon.
